Trusting God Before Provison
PRP² Publishing was founded during a season marked by financial strain, hard decisions, and deeply personal life challenges. It was a season that required trust in God before provision appeared.
In the middle of that season, LaQuandra Jefferies was given a clear instruction: write the book. What began as obedience to write one book quickly became three. Those three books were completed and prepared for publication — and have since grown into multiple published works, with more on the way.
During that same season, as the books were being finalized for release, LaQuandra experienced the loss of her Aunt Christie J. Cumberlander — a woman who was far more than an aunt; she was a mother figure. She passed before LaQuandra had the opportunity to tell her that the books were finished and on their way to publication. Her first book is dedicated in her honor.

The foundation of PRP² did not begin at its official launch. It began years earlier.
Founder and Publisher LaQuandra Jefferies’ story began in Gaffney, South Carolina, where her love for reading led her to win a school-wide reading competition at Central Elementary School, where she read the most books in the school and was awarded a bicycle.
In 2010, she graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, concentrating in Broadcast Journalism — equipping her with the discipline, structure, and voice that now shape her work as an author and publisher.
Her journey into authorship became deeply personal through motherhood. She wrote her first children’s book, Mommy, Let’s Pray, inspired by her son Christian. The story reflects the prayers and values she sought to instill in his life. The book is dedicated to him and carries a piece of both of their journeys.
From the first sketch to final publication, she independently self-illustrated, developed the manuscript, and brought the book to life entirely on her own.
From those personal milestones and published pages, PRP² Publishing took shape.
PRP² Publishing is rooted in Christian faith and obedience to God. With an expansive vision, it operates as a multi-genre publishing house committed to producing meaningful, purpose-driven literature across categories — from children’s books to inspirational works and beyond.
Mission
-
To publish impactful books that inspire, educate, and uplift.
-
To serve as a platform for other authors — whether they are publishing for the first time or seeking a trusted home to share and sell their already-published work.
Purpose
PRP² exists for storytellers. For visionaries. For authors who feel called but uncertain. For those who know they are meant to write — but do not know where to begin.
Truth
Trusting God is not easy. Launching a publishing company is not easy. Writing a first book is not easy. Walking into the unknown is not easy. But it is worth it.
PRP² Publishing stands as proof that obedience can build something greater than fear — and that trust before provision can produce legacy. And this is only the beginning.
Partnership and Sponsorship
As PRP² Publishing continues to grow, we welcome individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations who feel led to support and partner in this mission.
Sponsorship helps expand publishing opportunities, increase visibility, and extend the reach of meaningful, purpose-driven literature to readers and families across communities.
Those who partner with PRP² Publishing play a meaningful role in supporting its continued growth and future impact.
